Ecosystems require diversity, interconnection, and mutualistic relations to thrive. Our community membership tiers reflect different layers of a thriving forest from soil and mycelium to the tallest canopy trees. Each tier contributes to the whole system. No matter which category you select, your role as a part of this network of life creates a reciprocal balance of efforts and inputs. The tallest trees cannot survive without the smallest microbes and soil particles making a nurturing foundation.
As a Soil & Mycelium member, you embody the foundation of our ecosystem. With many small contributions and connections, you create the substrate of our existence. The work of creating soil; of creating community, is constant and intentional. The soil and mycelial networks feed and nourish all life on Earth.
As an Herbaceous member, you embody the nurturing, caring support of kinship. The groundcover emerges from the bare soil to take care, to build root structure into the soil, and to bear fruits (and leaves and flowers) of abundant medicine.
As a Vine & Runner member, you explore larger areas, expansively moving up, out, down and all around the forest of possibility. Runners take root in new soil. These are shareable quantities of product.
As a Hedge & Bush Member, you form the understory of the woods. You are structurally essential to the forest garden, offering barks, berries, and nuts in abundance. Hedge ecology is essential as a way to protect the garden from erosion, support a wide range of biodiversity, and create an essential living boundary between zones.
This offering is for Black and Indigenous People of Color only. Our co-op identifies with and centers these identities so we strive to ensure that our healing is especially accessible to our community. As a Root and Rhizome member, you store resources and remedies deep in the ground and flourish as you stabilize subterranean networks of life.

Every quarter the MMC partners with another community entity and donates 1/3 of our proceeds to them.
As a member of the Mobile Moon Co-op, your monthly contribution helps sustain this, and you also have the option to pitch your story to the collective and receive the support you or your community needs.
Depending on which tier is chosen, members can also receive product and service discounts, zines, art, access to personal use of the Moonstead space for appropriate purposes, and more.
Each quarter, we will present a list of organizations, individuals, and projects that would benefit from our support. We can fundraise for individuals (e.g. a relative facing medical bills), small organizations (e.g. Farm-to-Prison Project), large organizations (e.g. The International Rescue Committee), etc. as long as it falls into alignment with our mission.
As a member, you also have the ability to vote on what you feel is the most deserving cause of the quarter. Becoming a Mobile Moon Co-op Member weaves you into our fabric of support and healing. It is the active practice of mutual aid and community stewardship.
Monthly memberships not your vibe? Consider a one-time donation to support our work. Your contribution allows us to make a difference while offering you the flexibility of not joining as a member. We appreciate your support!
